Rooted in Community, Driving Local Impact

Across Washington, CHPW shows up in communities in meaningful, relationship-driven ways that reflect our commitment to being present, accessible, and responsive to community needs. CHPW teams work alongside community partners to connect with members in the spaces where trust, relationships and care are built.

Showing Up Across Washington

By investing in community-led gatherings and initiatives across Washington, CHPW builds relationships, listens, and stays connected beyond traditional health care settings, strengthening trust and advancing health through partnership.

Community partners

Throughout 2025, CHPW partnered with community‑based organizations and Community Health Centers across Washington to host community baby showers that connected families with resources, care, and support. One example was our collaboration with Sea Mar Community Health Centers.

CHPW and Sea Mar hosted a free community baby shower focused on supporting new and expecting parents through collaboration and connection. Held at the RISE Center in Tacoma, the event brought families together with seven local organizations to share resources, celebrate parenthood, and build community.

Community partners included: RISE Center, HopeSparks, Multicultural Child and Family Hope Center, Tacoma Pierce County Health Department (Black Infant Health & Family Resources), Building Beyond Communities, El Camino, and Pierce County Early Childhood Network

By coming together with local partners, we were able to connect families with meaningful resources and support. This event truly showed the power of community.
