CHPW Team Volunteers at Wenatchee’s Apple Blossom Festival

Did you know it’s National Volunteer Week? This is an opportunity to recognize and thank volunteers who lend their time, talent, voice, and support to causes they care about including CHPW staff members!

Thank you Gerardo Perez-Guerrero and Courtney Ward for representing CHPW in the community. Jerry (Gerardo) and Courtney were at Wenatchee’s Apple Blossom Festival, where they volunteered at Cakes for College, a nonprofit funnel cake stand.

To date, Cakes for College has raised over $1 million dollars, which is reinvested back into students in the form of college scholarships. Learn more about them at https://cakesforcollege.com/.

CHPW is committed to Washington’s communities, and we partner with local organizations across the state to help connect people to vital services and sponsor community events.

Every full-time CHPW employee has 40 hours of paid volunteer time that they use to support organizations throughout Washington.
