CHPW Team Volunteers at Free Seattle/King County Clinic

Last weekend, our CHPW team volunteered at the free Seattle/King County Clinic.

This annual clinic brings together health care organizations, civic agencies, non-profits, private businesses and volunteers from across Washington State to produce a giant free health clinic at Seattle Center.

The four-day volunteer-driven clinic provides dental, vision and medical care to anyone in the region who struggles to access and/or afford health care. All were welcome regardless of income, insurance, or housing.

CHPW is committed to Washington’s communities, and we partner with local organizations across the state to help connect people to vital services and sponsor community events. Every full-time CHPW employee has 40 hours of paid volunteer time that they use to serve meals at local food banks, work on Washington’s hiking trails, and clean up public spaces.

As a not-for-profit health plan, CHPW reinvests its profits back into the Community Health Centers, helping them deliver better care to everyone who walks through their doors.
