CHPW was proud to sponsor International Rescue Committee’s Arabic Calligraphy Workshop on December 14 in Seattle! Attendees spent the evening with calligraphy master and painter Arman Karimi, and crafted beautiful gifts and decorations.
Proceeds from the event went toward paying the artist, supplies, and to help raise funds for IRC’s Welcome Home campaign which serves newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers in the Seattle area.
We are grateful for our continued collaboration with our friends at IRC in welcoming and supporting immigrants and refugees in communities across Washington State. Collaborating throughout 2024 was a privilege and our partnership is sure to grow stronger in the coming year.
Thank you, IRC, for your commitment to helping people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster, to survive, recover, and gain control over their future.
