Did you know more than 8.8 million children in the United States get their primary health care from Community Health Centers (CHCs)?
CHCs provide high-quality, comprehensive primary and behavioral health care, case management, and other supportive services to meet the needs of people who lack stable housing.
On this last day of National Health Center Week we highlight that CHCs integrate medical, mental, oral, pharmacy, social, and specialty care from well-child checks to book drives, CHCc support beyond the doctor’s office and can help children be healthy, strong, and empowered now and in the future.
CHPW works with 21 partner CHCs operating more than 200 clinics throughout Washington State. Together with the dedicated professionals at CHCs, we reach beyond the walls of a doctor’s office to address whole-person care for children and their families.
National Health Center Week is a project of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).
